Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance Dr. Franziska Katharina Brantner is a German politician and a member of the European Parliament. She is the spokesperson for foreign affairs of the Group of the Greens.
Dr. Brantner graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques, in Paris in 2004 with a Diplôme des Sciences Politiques. She then obtained a Master of International Affairs from the School of Public and International Affairs of the Columbia University in New York. She went on to be a consultant for the United Nations Development Fund for Women and the European Council on Foreign Relations. She was also research assistant for the European Studies Centre, Oxford University and a Project Manager for the Bertelsmann Foundation in Brussels.
Dr. Brantner is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and of the Delegation for relations with Israel. She is also a substitute for the Subcommittee on Security and Defence and the Delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo.
