Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne is a British politician who is currently a member of the Liberal Democrat Foreign Affairs team in the UK’s House of Lords. From 1999-2009, Baroness Nicholson served as a Member of the European Parliament. She was President of the European Parliament’s Permanent Ad-Hoc Delegation for Relation with Iraq and Vice-President of the Committee on Women's Rights of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly. She also served as a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Subcommittee on Human Rights.

In 1997, Baronness Nicholson became a Life Peer in the UK House of Lords. She was also a UK Member of Parliament for Devon and West Torridge (1987-1997), and Vice-Chair of the Conservative Party (1983-1987).
