Mr. Kacin has been a member of the LDS council (1996), member of the Slovenian National Assembly (1996, 2000), and member of Kranj Municipal Council (1998, 2002). In 1996 Mr. Kacin chaired the Foreign Relations Committee and was a member of the Defence Committee and the Constitutional Commission.
